FOIA Project
The Public Has a Right to Know
The UAP Research Foundation's FOIA Project files, tracks, and publishes public records requests related to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena. We believe government transparency is not optional; it is a precondition for legitimate scientific inquiry.
About the Project
Why FOIA Matters for UAP Research
For decades, information about UAP has been withheld from the public under classification authorities that were never designed to suppress scientific inquiry. The Freedom of Information Act is one of the few legal tools available to compel disclosure, and we use it systematically.
Our FOIA Project files requests with the Department of War, the Intelligence Community, NASA, the FAA, and other agencies. We track the status of every request, appeal denials, and publish all responsive documents.
We also support individuals and journalists who want to file their own requests, and we request information about known UAP-related FOIA targets to help researchers identify productive avenues for inquiry.

Published Records
All documents obtained through our FOIA requests are published here as they are received. Documents are organized by agency and request date. We do not redact or withhold any portion of responsive records beyond what agencies have already withheld.
Our FOIA program is newly active. Documents will be published here as requests are filed and responses received.
Submit a FOIA Target
Know of a government program, document, or dataset that should be subject to a FOIA request? Submit it here. All submissions are anonymous. We review every tip and file requests where we believe responsive records exist.
